Main gate of the European Southern Observatory (ESO) premises located in the Vitacura district of the Chilean capital. On the right is the new Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) Santiago Central Office. Built by ESO as part of its responsibilities as the European ALMA partner, the building was handed over on 5 November 2010. The ESO headquarters in Chile were built from 1967–1969.
El viernes 21 de marzo nuestros estudiantes primero y segundo medio pudieron realizar un recorrido por distintas estaciones con actividades interactivas y educativas que les permitieron conocer el funcionamiento y los descubrimientos de ALMA. Entre las experiencias pudieron disfrutar de la observación solar, conversar con astrónomas y conocer la sala de control del observatorio Alma.
